The film introduced Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of another symbiote, Carnage. A serial killer whose love for sowing chaos is only topped by his affinity for murder, Kasady finds his darkest impulses empowered and becomes Carnage. Carnage has a long history in the Marvel Comics universe.

Carnage Origin:

Cletus Kasady was brought up in a childhood in which murder, torture, and antisocial behavior were the norm. His timeline in Marvel’s comics saw him kill his grandmother at an early age and after the death of his parents. He took out his murderous inclinations on the orphanage where he was sent.

For Kasady, that was only the start of a long and brutal killing spree that eventually sent him to the penitentiary on Ryker’s Island, serving 11 consecutive life sentences, where he first met Eddie Brock, his cellmate and the former host of the Venom symbiote.

Rumor About the Story Plot:

Woody Harrelson’s character Cletus Kasady was revealed when Tom Hardy once again starts working as a journalist, interviews Kasady, a captured serial killer in prison. And during interview  Kasady’s promise that

When I get out of here – and I will – there’s going to be carnage.

In the comics, he merges with a symbiote named Carnage, a kind of “offspring” that Venom shed once while breaking Tom Hardy out of prison. Kasady as Carnage developed violent abilities that even Venom doesn’t possess.
